As an ex member of 1349 Sqn Woking ATC and now a serving member of the RAF Larry helped shape and guide my formative years. He led by example and certainly set many of us on a military career path. There are many of us who learned respect and discipline at his guiding hand and I know that Larry got much pleasure for knowing that he made a difference to so many teenagers lives. It I a wonderful legacy to leave. Both I and my mother express our sincere sympathy to you all at this extremely difficult time and hope the tributes will raise some valuable money for the RAFBF.
